In recent years, with the improvement of the quality requirements of the country for elastomer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane, the quality awareness of the major waterproofing enterprises has been further enhanced. As a key basic raw material of waterproofing membrane, tire base fabric has been greatly concerned, and its long fiber has become the general trend. At this stage, some domestic chemical fiber enterprises and many experts are actively involved in the research and development and trial production of long fiber polyester tires. They do their best for the localization of long fiber polyester tires, regardless of gains and losses, abandoning stereotypes, uniting as one, and completing a revolution in the waterproof coiled material base fabric industry. The author is fortunate to be a witness and practitioner of this historical process.

Encouraged by Mr. Xian Yong Biao, president of Suzhou Waterproofing Research Institute, and Mr. Zheng Jiayu, president of Shouguang Waterproofing Association, the company is determined to take the power of the spirit of the first, some people of insight in the United Nations have developed and launched long-fiber polyester tire projects.
Everything is difficult before it starts. We know very little about long-fiber polyester tires. We only know that there are only three enterprises in China that can produce long-fiber polyester tires, and all the equipment is imported. For this reason, the company has set up a team headed by Chairman Hou Shangmin, and has formulated the focus of the next step: to hire well-known domestic experts as consultants, understand the process of long-fiber polyester tires as soon as possible, and look for domestic spunbonded non-woven fabric equipment.
In 2009, after understanding and introduction by friends, the long fiber team of developed cloth industry hired Mr. Han Hegen and Mr. Shan Jinglian as consultants of the company's expert group and started the exploration of domestic long fiber polyester tires. After entering the exploration stage of domestic long fiber polyester tire, we found that in China, in fact, many people of insight have been exploring this aspect: Mr. Han Hegen is the former veteran of Jiangxi synthetic fiber factory, the pioneer of the country to digest and absorb foreign polyester spunbond non-woven fabric advanced technology, and has his own unique views on the production process and process of long fiber polyester tire; mr. Shan Jinglian is an old-timer in China's polyester spunbond non-woven fabric industry. In particular, Mr. Han Hegen was already in his early years and suffered from prostate cancer, but he was determined to fight for the domestic long fiber polyester tire for life. He once said: It doesn't matter if I am sick, I am very happy to watch it very lightly, but if I can't see the success of domestic long fiber polyester tires in my lifetime, it will be my biggest regret.
After long-term exploration and research, the developed fabric industry long fiber team has conducted many in-depth and substantive discussions with relevant units and equipment manufacturers, demonstrating the feasibility of domestic long fiber polyester tire production. In 2010, after careful judgment, the long fiber team finally defined the process as follows: the long fiber spunbond non-woven fabric used in the production of polyester tire adopts domestic equipment, and the equipment supplier is preferably Dalian Huayang Chemical Fiber Technology Co., Ltd.; The shaping and dipping process of non-woven fabrics are improved on the basis of the process of a German company. Equipment outsourcing manufacturers processing, long fiber team self-assembly, debugging.
After a year of construction and installation, in November 2011, Shouguang developed fabric co., ltd. long fiber polyester tire front spinning line 1# was officially put into trial operation, and a few days later spinning, shaping and dipping line 1# was also officially put into operation. During this period, the installation of the front spinning equipment was relatively smooth. However, because there is no ready-made complete set of equipment for reference, the post-spinning glue dipping line can only find its own way according to the process we imagined and discussed, and constantly explore and improve. Some equipment was about to be installed, but it was found that it did not work and was dismantled again and again. After more than half a year, China's first domestic long fiber polyester tire hot air penetrating round net shaping dipping line was finally successfully installed at the end of 2011.
After the equipment is installed, the test run has become a stumbling block: how to test run? what kind of specifications of products to try? Want to achieve what kind of effect? These are not sure. After careful consideration, the research and development team of Changxian is determined to choose the national standard Type I of GB/T18840-2002 polyester tire as the breakthrough point. However, problems have also arisen. In order to meet the requirements in the national standard, how much weight can our finished product be made to meet the requirements? How much glue is appropriate? How many grams of white blank nonwoven fabric is reasonable? How does the physical index of the white non-woven fabric change after dipping and setting? What are the reasonable parameters we set in the production process? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. From December 2011 to May 2012 for the whole half year, the whole production line from front to back failed to produce one square meter of qualified finished products-all of them were doing tests and accumulating original data. The loss of defective products generated by the company during this period alone reached one million yuan. Kung Fu pays off. In June 2012, the first batch of qualified national standard I-type long fiber polyester tires we produced finally rolled off the production line. After trial production by Weifang Hongyuan Waterproof Material Co., Ltd., the response was very good-the index fully met the requirements of GB/T18242-2008 "Elastomer Modified Asphalt Waterproof Coil" and was very easy to use. Compared with short fiber polyester tire, long fiber polyester tire has better stability and processing and application performance. The thermal size of the product is stable, and the water content and water absorption are very small. To achieve the same mechanical properties, the long fiber tire base is lower than the short fiber tire base weight, thin thickness, good impregnation performance. The long fiber polyester tire is suitable for a wide range of asphalt, and the modified asphalt waterproofing membrane produced by the long fiber polyester tire has a great enhancement effect on tensile force and extension, and has good stability.
In the trial production process of our long fiber polyester tire, not only our long fiber team has made great efforts, but also has been guided and supported by many experts and friends.
At the beginning of 2012, when I learned that our company was trial-producing long-fiber polyester tires, Ms. Qiu Yumei of Dow Chemical (China) Co., Ltd. took the initiative to contact us about the chemical glue used for styling. We have long known that foreign long fiber polyester tires are impregnated with chemical glue, but suffer from the lack of relevant technical data, so corn starch glue has been used to shape the treatment, but the shaping effect is not ideal. Soon we reached an agreement with Dow Chemical to develop a new formula glue-a mixed glue of acrylic acid and corn starch: our company carried out the proportioning experiment of the new mixed glue, and Dow Chemical provided technical support; Our company is responsible for the production and testing of on-site test products-strictly according to the requirements, and records the production process and the physical properties of the finished products in detail, and the original data are shared by both parties; engineer Xiaofeng Wang of Dow Chemical (China) Co., Ltd. Site guidance. After more than three months and four formula adjustments, the process of styling glue was finally determined. The new formula latex has good setting effect, suitable price and no pollution. It is an ideal latex for long fiber polyester tire setting. Through the cooperation with Dow Chemical, we have also learned the good style of many large international companies: in order to obtain the first-hand and most accurate parameters, Wang Gong always brings all the industrial water and starch from our site back to Shanghai for analysis and testing. In order to discuss a data with our on-site staff on the phone for an hour-to discuss the data in detail, the changes of production process parameters, etc., these rigorous working attitudes are what we should learn. In May 2013, the second long fiber polyester tire production line of developed cloth industry was put into operation smoothly. So far, we have two long-fiber polyester tire front spinning threads and four shaping and dipping threads, with an annual output of 40 million ㎡.
On the basis of doing a good job in ordinary long fiber polyester tires, we continue to develop more high-tech polyester tires. With the rapid development of national high-speed railway, the contradiction between supply and demand of special waterproofing membrane for high-speed railway has become increasingly prominent. High-speed rail special waterproofing membrane is also called railway bridge with polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane, its performance requirements are much higher than GB/T18242-2008 "elastomer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane" in the national standard type II waterproofing membrane requirements. This is a brand-new challenge. Even the performance of the existing products of international non-woven giants such as Jesman non-woven fabrics and Codelbao-Poled cannot meet the requirements of this waterproof membrane. At the end of 2012, Beijing Dongfang Yuhong Waterproof Technology Co., Ltd. contacted us and hoped to cooperate with us to provide them with tire base for polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane for railway bridge. Their requirement is that the tire base strength is ≥ 950 N/5cm and the extension is ≥ 43%, while the international type II polyester tire we produce requires the strength is ≥ 720 N/5cm and the extension is ≥ 35%. Seemingly a small change, in fact, for polyester tire is a qualitative leap. For this reason, the company set up a special research and development team to tackle key problems in this product, and finally came up with qualified products in March 2013. In the past few months, the R & D team adjusted the process parameters, adjusted the latex formula, and even replaced the raw materials. Everything started from scratch, with only one goal, and developed a high polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane for railway bridges. Polyester tire. Now, our company's railway bridge with polymer modified asphalt waterproofing membrane with polyester tire market share is very high, product performance and indicators far more than similar foreign products.
Petroleum resources are a non-renewable resource, and various products derived from petroleum have penetrated into every detail of people's lives, as has polyester. At present, the vast majority of polyester spunbonded non-woven fabrics in the world are produced by polyester chips as raw materials. As far as I know, only Freudenberg-Paulide has achieved industrial production in the production of polyester tires with polyester bottles. The so-called polyester bottle is the mineral water bottles, coke bottles and other recycling broken pieces of material. In 2012, the developed cloth industry conducted research and development on domestic polyester bottle sheet long fiber spunbond linoleum base cloth (bottle sheet spinning long fiber polyester tire) by relevant companies in the United Nations. Now the industrial equipment has entered the installation stage, and the localization of bottle sheet spinning long fiber polyester tire is just around the corner.
Thanks to the overall good economic form of the country, China's building waterproofing industry has developed well as a whole.
